dock is getting closer to being finished

work on the dock has been slow because i am the worlds worst procrastinator. or is that "best".

19" clear pine

19"x8' pine loaded up and ready to go.

end view of same.

19" wide clear pine, no knots anywhere, not even at the heart. got 1 - 3" board, 1 -2" board and 8 - 1" boards. edged down to 12" wide.
i am going to use the 3" for blocking in between the joist on the curved bridge walkway.

curved log bridge

the spillway area. the pvc pipe is the over flow but when we get frog stanglers water is up to the top of the boards. you can barely see the 4x4's right above the pipe that i will set the joist on.

just got this cut and on the bed of the sawmill. with the staight part cut off it is about 12' long and will be a bugger to get cut.
i'm going to cut 3" slices to use as joist for an an arched walkway over the spillway at my pond.
it is tulip poplar about 24" diameter.
